We are currently seeking a Senior Pega Developer to workin Fort Collins, CO, or Remotely.
**Role Overview:**
+ The role will require a solid background in Pega with appropriate certification(s) and significant experience developing software on the Pega platform.
+ This role will be relied upon as a subject matter expert (SME) of Pega, its capabilities, and best practices.
+ This role will be expected to lead a team of developers (Pega, React, .NET, and DB skillsets) through the development process starting with decomposing high-level requirements into stories through implementing and testing.
+ This role will be expected to respond to production defects, quickly identify root cause, and manage resolution working closely with users, stakeholders, and our release management team.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Be a champion of Pega's technology and its value to the customer
+ Develop foundational enhancements to existing production Pega applications
+ Design and implement new Pega applications and prototypes
+ Establish standards and best practices for a Pega Center of Excellence
+ Stay current with emerging Pega technologies and trends, recommending and implementing improvements
+ Work closely with IT, development, and business teams to align cloud strategies with organizational goals
+ Lead Pega development and feature implementations, ensuring smooth integration and minimal disruption
+ Develop complex user interface (UI) elements following modern UI standards and best practices while satisfying 508 compliant
+ Implement flow rules driven by process automation and user intent
+ Design class structures that maximize code reuse and flexibility
**Required Skills and Competencies:**
A successful candidate must have the following experience/competencies
+ Technical Expertise: Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), all recent versions of Pega, cloud architecture, networking, virtualization, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
+ On-Premise and Cloud Service Expertise: Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, including their services, deployment models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), and best practices
+ Networking: Strong understanding of cloud networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, VPNs, and security protocols
+ Security and Compliance: Ability to design and implement secure architectures, manage identity and access, encryption, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
+ UI Customization: Experience with design and development of UI's using JavaScript, HTML and CSS Stylesheets
+ Strategic and Soft Skills
+ Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and collaborate across teams
+ Problem-Solving: Sharp troubleshooting abilities to identify and resolve complex technical issues and ensure system resilience
+ Project Management: Ability to manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with business goals
+ Continuous Learning: Staying updated with the latest cloud technologies, trends, and best practices
+ Software Development: Familiarity with software development methodologies and multi-tiered distributed applications
+ Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to address technical challenges and optimize cloud environments
**Education and Experience:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or similar degree
+ At least 5 years of general experience of which 3 years were hands on experience in a similar role
+ Candidates without a college degree will be considered, but must have at least 9 years of general IT experience of which 5 years were hands on in a similar role
+ **Certification Required** : Certified Pega System Architect & Certified Pega Customer Service Developer
