ROOM ATTENDANT | LE PETIT PALI ST HELENA POSITION PROFILE:We're looking for a qualified Room Attendant that's prepared to clean, sanitize, and tidy guest rooms to maintain pristine accommodations for our guests.ABOUT LE PETIT PALI ST HELENALe Petit Pali St Helena is Situated in the charming Napa Valley town of St. Helena, this intimate hidden gem features 24 picturesque guest rooms and 5 standalone cottages. Spend afternoons lounging by our sparkling pool or savoring a glass of local wine on the sun-drenched terrace. As evening falls, stroll along our peaceful pathways, taking in the spectacular sunset views that only Napa can deliver. Guests can delight in an array of amenities including complimentary daily Champagne Continental Breakfast, house-made cookies delivered to your room each night, Antipodes water and Baci chocolates left bedside after check-in, and so much more. Le Petit Pali St. Helena is nestled on a quiet road, just a stone's throw away from Downtown St. Helena, Calistoga, and some of the region's most desirable wineries, tasting rooms, and eateries.THE TASK AT HAND: Maintaining pristine, sanitary, and perfectly tidy hotel spaces, from guest rooms to common areas and staff offices. Maintaining and swapping out menus, postcards, and additional collateral displayed in guest roomsTreating our furniture, fixtures, flooring, and beyond with the utmost care by following cleansing guidelines and using appropriate products in accordance with our standard proceduresCleaning guest rooms as instructed by supervisors based on priority and guest check-insEmptying trash containersPerforming all duties required to provide and maintain tidy guest rooms, including but not limited to removing and replacing used towels, removing soap, dirt, dust, and hair buildup from mirrors, vanities, sinks, toilets, showers, tubs, shower curtains, and floors.Replacing facial, toilet tissue and bathroom amenities in correct amount and locationInspecting the condition of bathrobes and replacing if soiled/damagedRemoving dirty bed linens and making beds with clean linensReplacing laundry bags and slipsCleaning closets and door tracks on check-out rooms, removing dust and debrisEnsuring the correct amount and placement of hangers, extra blanket/pillowDusting and polishing all furnitureRealigning or adjusting furniture when needed to match floor plan and designated placementOpening all drawers/doors in check-out rooms for dusting and to remove any items left by guests.Checking under bed(s), chairs and sofa for debris and removing if presentInspecting the condition of all furniture for tears, rips or stains and reporting any damages to the supervisor immediatelyRemoving all dust, debris and foreign particles from upholstered furniture including crevices and under cushionsDusting pictures, frames and mirrorsRemoving dust and debris on television, clock radios, remote controls and cable boxSetting the correct time on clock; correcting TV channels when neededCleansing all lamps and light switches in addition to testing them to ensure they're in proper working orderRemoving dust, spots, grease, and smears from windows, ledges, frames, and telephones, then repositioning properlyEmptying liquids from ice bucket and wiping all surfaces dryRemoving dust, smudges and spills from mini bar; ensure it is plugged in and securely lockedWorking a flexible schedule based on hotel occupancy and need periodsFollowing uniform guidelinesWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:Has a strong working knowledge of and passion for hospitalityGuest service orientedStrong knowledge of cleaning productsMust be able to stand or walk a minimum of eight hour and requires mobility and prolonged standing, walking, bending and lifting up to 50 lbsMinimum of one-year experience in a similar positionFlexible schedule - ability to work a variety of shiftsWHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU: A competitive compensation package including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.401(k) retirement plan (future you will love this one!)Paid time off, holiday pay, and sick pay when you're under the weather.Career advancement in an organization committed to helping star employees thrive.There's also an opportunity to expand your career trajectory as we are a fast-growing company with hotels and restaurants in multiple cities.Professional development that sets you up for success across multiple hospitality career paths.A collaborative work environment where your creative ideas can come to fruition.Amazing employee discounts on hotels and dining across our entire portfolio (18 hotels and more to come!)Hands-on training with a nimble team.Palisociety is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to hiring a diverse workforce and sustaining an inclusive culture.
