Description We are looking for a dedicated Human Resources (HR) Assistant to join our team in Van Nuys, California. This is a contract position where you will play a key role in supporting HR operations while ensuring clear communication and accurate documentation. If you are bilingual in Spanish and have a strong background in HR administration, this opportunity is ideal for you. Responsibilities: - Provide administrative support to the HR department, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. - Act as a translator during workers' compensation-related appointments, facilitating communication between employees and medical professionals. - Document and report workplace incidents and accidents promptly and accurately. - Organize and manage paperwork, including filing and scanning essential HR documents. - Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures while handling sensitive information. - Assist in other HR-related tasks as needed to support the department's goals. Requirements - Proven experience in human resources administration or a related field. - Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English, with strong translation skills. - Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail. - Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism. - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. - Proficiency in basic office software, including document management tools. - Knowledge of workers' compensation processes is a plus. - Availability to work onsite Monday through Friday in Van Nuys, California.
