Job Description
NeuroRestorative, a part of the Sevita family, provides rehabilitation services for people of all ages with brain, spinal cord and medically complex injuries, illnesses and other challenges. In a variety of locations and community-based settings, we offer a range of programs, including vocational and therapy programs, day treatments, and specialized services for infants, children, adolescents, Military Service Members and Veterans.
**Clinical Liaison -** **Neuro Rehabilitation for our** **Arizona region**
We are looking for someone that is able to continue to build our referral partners for our neuro rehabilitation facility. The ideal candidate would have previous experience as a clinical liaison with a focus on veteran administration and worker's compensation programs. Within this role you will Markets programs regionally and performs clinical screens when required to determine eligibility for program participation; communicates details of program descriptions with stakeholders; assessment market needs and communicates back to Development or Operations Teams.
**_Essential Job Functions:_**
+ Identifies, establishes, and develops strategic relationships with potential referral sources and documents contacts in established systems.
+ Maintains and strengthens relationships with existing referral sources and other stakeholders and documents contacts in established systems
+ When required, completes clinical screens to determine eligibility for programs and for payor and other stakeholder review of proposed supports and services.
+ Completes all pre-admission protocols and records in established systems along with working with worker's compensation third party administrators or veteran administrators
+ Acts as communication liaison for clinical and funding information
+ Communicates details of individual referrals with Referral and Admissions Coordinator(s), participates in admission team meetings, prepares reports of clinical screens and maintains communication with referral source(s) and other stakeholders.
+ Participates in regional/national conferences (exhibiting/attendance)
+ Maintains contact, referral information and reports in established database systems.
+ Communicates responsibly with program participants, family members and payers regarding rehabilitation planning, admissions, etc.
+ Achieves individual/team admission targets.
+ Identifies and communicates regional industry trends, needs in order to make programmatic, and service line recommendations.
+ Performs other related duties and activities as required.
**_Qualifications:_**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Rehabilitation, Therapeutic or Human Services field preferred.
+ Three years' experience in rehabilitation or therapeutic service provision preferred
+ Experience with Managed Care Organization / Local Management Entity preferred
+ Experience with field case management with workers' compensation and/or veteran administration care
+ Previous clinical therapy or nursing beneficial to this role to provide clinical evaluation in hospital setting, home or medical facility
**Other Requirements:**
+ Travel inPhoenix area and Southern Arizona area - 75% of the time.
+ Periodic travel to Nevada, New Mexico and Colorado
+ Driver's license in good standing
+ Must meet all requirements for our background screening.
