Our law firm has a full-time associate attorney position available now, and we’re looking for the right professional to join our team. You will have the opportunity to learn from senior associates and litigation associates on legal issues, and you will provide legal counsel to existing clients. You’ll also be responsible for performing legal research, drafting documents, and keeping client files up to date. Responsibilities: • Conduct legal research, prepare for and attend hearings and/or other legal proceedings, and provide legal counsel with the help of senior associate attorneys • Resolve cases efficiently by using communicating effectively with and working alongside senior attorneys and paralegals • Keep files organized to make sure the most recent updates are accessible to other attorneys, paralegals, and staff • Analyze conflicts in legal matters, advise clients on solutions, and negotiate on behalf of clients • Create legal documents, including correspondence, briefs, motions, pleadings, contracts, affidavits, and settlement agreements for contract negotiations and proceedings • Represent clients in removal proceedings before the Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR) and USCIS. Attend court hearings and interviews as required • Prepare and file motions, appeals • Conduct client consultations and develop legal strategies • Stay updated on changes in immigration law and policy • Collaborate with our legal team in an innovative and team-oriented environment Qualifications: • Member in good standing and actively involved with the ABA (American Bar Association) • Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree required from an accredited law school • Effective communication skills and problem-solving skills are necessary to work with all levels of staff and clients • Willingness to learn from senior attorneys to meet our client needs and grow our client base • Candidates must have passed the bar exam • Minimum 4 years of experience in immigration law , with a focus on EOIR representation • Must be located near an EOIR courthouse (Preferably: Miami, Orlando, Charlotte, or Chicago) About Company: We are an innovative and dynamic immigration law firm committed to providing top-tier legal representation to clients.
