Job Summary

The Accountant II will perform accounting transactions and financial reporting analysis for the accounting department. will be responsible for providing guidance, analysis, and support to achieve operational excellence and drive continuous improvement in accounting processes and systems for the Company.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Completion of assigned closing process tasks including:
• Processing assigned files for month end consolidation
• Performing multiple system reconciliations and evaluating differences
• Top Side Journal entry preparation and posting
• Processing consolidation tasks and performing ad hoc error resolution
• Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
• Assisting in monitoring timely completion of month-end close tasks for US and foreign countries
• Assist with managing closing tool including process improvement and automation efforts
• SAP Master Data maintenance support
• Preparation of assigned monthly management and SOX reports
• Preparation of assigned quarterly and year-end audit schedules
• All other duties/ad-hoc projects as assigned

Education and Experience Profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• 2-5 years accounting experience
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Knowledge of SAP ECC, S4 Hana, and Group Reporting is a plus

Required Skills

• Strong analytical skills, high degree of accuracy, and ability to multi-task
• Required to stay up to date with current, new and evolving technical accounting areas
